The First Shipmentof Bulk Halmahera to PLTU Suralaya

PT Asian Bulk Logistics (ABL) successfully completed the inaugural shipment of coal from PT Berau Coal (BC) to the Suralaya Power Plant, owned by PT PLN Indonesia Power. This milestone marks ABL's significant role alongside BC in contributing to the national energy supply.

The ceremonial event celebrating this first shipment was attended by ABL's President Director, Ms. Ika Heru Beth Ari. The event also saw the presence of notable representatives including Mr. Tumindang Sinurat from PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI), Mr. Romy Nurawan, Senior Manager of Primary Energy at Unit Bisnis Pembangkitan (UBP) Suralaya, and Mr. Muhammad Vieno representing the Director of Operations at IP HO Pusat Jakarta.

Mrs. Ika Heru Beth Ari (President, Director):

"we are truly thankful to PT Berau Coal for appointing ABL as the coal transporter for the Suralaya Power Plant." This opportunity is extremely valuable because it allows us to help support the electricity supply in our beloved Republic of Indonesia. This demonstrates PT ABL's strong desire to increase productivity."

This inaugural shipment was carried out using one of ABL's finest vessels: the Mother Vessel Panamax Bulk Halmahera. The Bulk Halmahera, capable of carrying a load of 75,000 MT, is one of the largest vessels in Asian Bulk Logistics' fleet, showcasing ABL's capacity to handle substantial transport demands efficiently.

This significant achievement underscores ABL's commitment to excellence and reliability in the logistics and energy sectors, paving the way for future collaborations and continued contributions to Indonesia's energy infrastructure.
