Onboard safety is our top priority and has been enforced as a company policy. The Shipboard Management System (SMS) communicates, supervises and guides the crew on safe working
practices. The implementation of ISM (safety), ISPS (security), MLC (well-being), and other latest international standards on our ships is continuously monitored by a dedicated team of QHSE professionals through audits and drills

Safety at Sea

At ABL, the safety of our people and our assets always takes precedence in all operational or risk management decisions. We have standards and processes in place to ensure that every employee, both onshore and at sea, can operate in the safest work environment possible. Our Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Policy is deeply ingrained in our company’s culture, guiding all our work activities. In order to be the industry leader for safety, we uphold the highest standards in both processes and in practice. With the commitment of our Management and every employee, we are dedicated to ensuring ‘Zero Harm’ to people, the environment, cargo, and assets.

Safety on Shore

Onshore safety is treated with the same level of seriousness as onboard safety. All staff receive in-house safety and security-related training. Our trained, qualified, and vigilant onshore staff ensure compliance to the highest and most up-to-date international standards, such as ISO 45001.
