On Friday, 8 May 2026, Asian Bulk Logistics inaugurated Pondok Bulk Borneo as a public facility at the Mangrove Tracking area in Kecamatan Derawan, alongside the donation of eight waste bins to support environmental sustainability and tourism development.

The event was attended by Ariyanto, S.E, Camat Derawan; Andi Ahmad Pemilu, Sekretaris Kecamatan Derawan; representatives of Tanjung Batu village; and Pokdarwis Lahatku Janti. The local government highly appreciated the initiative as part of the ongoing effort to develop Derawan as a growing tourism destination.

This initiative continues ABL’s commitment to creating sustainable positive impact through community empowerment and environmental programs, including grouper fish seed support, cacao cultivation, and mangrove seedling assistance in the Derawan and Berau region.
